With a deep-rooted start in construction at the age of 14 alongside his father’s company, Bungay Contracting, Scott’s path led him through a rewarding career in emergency services from 2008. Slowly but steadily, he ventured into providing renovation services to friends and family between 2010 and 2017, until the momentous leap to establish Bungay Renos full-time, departing from a fulfilling role as a paramedic, firefighter, and rescue technician. Scott still volunteers as a firefighter today in the town of Deer Lake.

 

Scott and his wife Dawn have been living in Deer Lake since 2016, raising their two boys and wholeheartedly embracing the community spirit. This deep-rooted connection fuels their passion for giving back and fostering a sense of camaraderie within the community.

Brady, our Project Manager, brings to the table not just his expertise as a journeyman electrician and a self-taught carpenter, but also a wealth of experience gained from his significant role as a lieutenant in the fire service. Serving since 2011 in the electrical trade, Brady has developed an unparalleled blend of skills that underpin his success in managing renovation projects with precision and a deep client focus. With an impressive 25 years in the construction industry, Danny brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Bungay Renos team. His journey began in insurance restoration, where he honed his skills while navigating various facets of the construction trade. Danny also successfully ran his own company in Ontario for several years, further solidifying his proficiency in renovation work and project management.

Having returned to his home province with his family a few years ago, Danny now resides in Deer Lake, where he continues to share his passion for carpentry and construction. His deep-rooted knowledge allows him to take on diverse projects with a meticulous approach, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every task he undertakes.

Danny’s extensive background provides him with a unique perspective on the renovation process, enabling him to effectively address challenges and tailor solutions to meet each client’s individual needs. Shannon, our Master Roofer & Carpenter’s Helper is an excellent and dedicated worker who brings a high level of skill and professionalism to the Bungay Renos team. His deep knowledge of the trade, honed over many years, and the time he spent working side-by-side with our Lead Carpenter, Nic, contributes to the unparalleled excellence seen in every project he’s part of.

In addition to his professional journey, Brayden has just begun a new chapter in his life, having recently moved to Deer Lake from Ontario with his fiancé to start their family.
